Denise Gonzales-Crisp was invited by Department of Graphic Design at OU SoA to participate as this year's 2007 Visiting Design Critic. The graduating class of 2007 was given a tremendous opportunity to interface with one of the nation's most innovative and inspired graphic thinkers. Presenting her Deco-Rational Project a pivotal moment in the history of the department's embarce of the decorative rational. Perhaps Denise's thoughts had been with us all along and Denise's role was to make them beautifully and shockingly apparent.

This is image is evidence of one of the typographic studies I performed. These form elements found their way into the more informative versions of the poster but somehow this photographic document presents something that te poster failed to do, Immediacy.
