Design Week Portland 2019.

On April 7, 2019 we were included in the exhibition titled Agencies of Change: Art of Resilience and Resistance, A Poster Show for Trans Lifeline as part of Design Week Portland’s festival of events during the weeek long celebration.

This was our first opportunity to participate in Design Week Portland’s annual festival. Our colleagues over Murmur Creative were putting together the exhibition and were kind of enough to extend an invitation after we expressed enthusiasm and interest in the event. We began work on our poster immediately after being invited and were pleased with the final design which took up the entire month of March. If you missed the event please do pop over to the Agencies of Change website that Murmur Creative were kind enough to put together so that you could still pick up the print.

Our submission to the exhibition was an ambitious 11 x 17 vertical diptych, 3 color risograph print in cornflower blue, fluorescent pink and purple. It was quite the undertaking! We managed to see it through with stunning results thanks to the support and kindness of the folks at Outlet PDX and Kate Kate Bingaman-Burt who cheered us on.

Special thanks to Rachel and the folks at Design Week Portland.
